Vowswelltraveled
A complete visual redesign and Webflow rebuild for a destination wedding and elopement brand. I transformed the existing WordPress site into a more expressive, editorial experience while restructuring its content and visual language around immersive photography and playful typography.
the project goal
FROM A conventional WEDDING SITE TO AN EDITORIAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCE
The client’s request was a complete redesign of the existing WordPress website: keeping the established brand colors while moving away from its more ornate, cursive-heavy aesthetic. With a growing library of destination wedding photography, the goal was to create a more modern visual identity that better reflected the character of the brand.
I developed the new visual direction, balancing editorial layouts, expressive typography and immersive photography with the brand elements the client wanted to retain. Once the direction was approved, I redesigned the full website and rebuilt it in Webflow. The modern, movement-driven layout sets a celebratory tone, while staying intuitive and user-friendly, creating an inspiring, accessible experience.
